Hello everyone, it is me Linda and I am back hosting again this week.... I don't know if you have heard the good news but I am going to be a grandma soon..... Just one more month to go....
So that is how I came up with this week's challenge. All you have to do is create a Baby card or projects that have buttons and bows on it.... Babies, Buttons and Bows.... that shouldn't be too hard right? I can't wait to see what you come up with....

Guest Designer
I am happy to introduce you all to this week's Guest Designer, all the way from the Sunny Island Singapore - Sandy Ang!!!

Here's Sandy and her project:
Thank you Kirsty for having me (Sandy Ang) as your guest designer. I've been a fan of CCCB since it started, so I'm thrilled to create something for week 49. This whimsical decorative item is actually an altered paperclip. Like many of my projects, this is a play on shapes - from the length of the giraffe's neck, to the swirling stems and the circular florals. It's pure serendipity to have a Junkitz acrylic button in my stash that fits in the 'belly' of Mama giraffe. Hope you have lots of un with this week's challenge!

City Crafter Challenge Blog Week #48 ~ The King and I (city - Monte Carlo)

Hey crafters, this week we are going to Monte Carlo - a city-state (independent sovereign state located between the foot of the Southern Alps and the Mediterranean). Monte Carlo is widely known for its casino and Formula One Grand Prix. If you have been to the Le Grand Casino, the amount of expensive sport cars parked right outside is quite a scene. I personally think that Glamorous Monte Carlo is a place fit for a King, or Queen, or Prince and Princess, so here you go, our challenge this week is "The King and I", we want to see crown(s) in your project, it could be embellishment, charm or paper, so get going......

Guest Designer
I am happy to introduce you all to this week's Guest Designer - Carol Quance

Here's a little about Carol in her own words: Hi, my name is Carol. I live in the Cotswolds in the UK and work in the local hospital as an administrator. I've been making things ever since I was a child. One of my favorite things to do was making clothes for my troll (remember those?) If I don't make something regularly I start to feel twitchy lol! I love to try different techniques and different styles. Currently I nearly always end up with lace somewhere on my creations. More recently and as a complete contrast, I've been experimenting with journaling and love the free and easy way you can splash around with paints and create wonderful bright backgrounds. I find crafting is a great way to relax after a busy day and it really switches your mind off from the daily grind.

Week 47 ~ In My Pocket

Guest Designer
I am happy to introduce you all to this week's Guest Designer - Monica Skadsem

Here's a little about Monica in her own words: Hi, I'm Monica from Norway! I have three fantastic children and I am married to the man of my dream. I have been crafting my whole life, and about 12 years ago I discovered stamping and cardmaking - and I was lost!! Some years later a colleague invited me to a scrapbook class, and guess what.... I was lost again! Oh my.... these papercrafting hobbies have really changed my life. It's lifestyle, passion and therapy in one, and I could not imagine life without papercrafting.
I was so happy and honoured when Kirsty asked me to be a guest designer - and i just had to say yes! I am not share that I have a certain style, but I do love the French Country Style, and i guess I am quite influenced by that. I love to use soft colors, flowers, paint and sewing on my projects - and I always have to distress the edges both with distresser and ink to get the "right look". I love it when it looks a bit crackled and old. I am lucky to be a designer for a Norwegian producer Papidesign - and I just love their papers and stamps! I am also a designer for  Norwegian company called Scrapbookengros - which is a papercraft wholesaler here in Norway.
This weeks challenge was so inspiring and I immediately knew that I had to make a mini album from scratch with brown paper bags. I have used my sewing machine a lot here - and I have spent a lot of time waiting for paint to dry *lol*. The theme of the mini album is friendship, gratitute and encouragement, and I have made pockets to put pictures and "secret tags", I have used a lot of Melissa Frances rub-ons that I think was perfect for both the theme and the style.
I hope you will enjoy this week's challenge, and that you will be as inspired as I was! Can't wait to see your creations! So Kirsty, thank you again for asking me to be this week's guest designer, it has been so much fun!!

This week's prize package is kindly sponsored by American Crafts

Here's a little about American Crafts - Steve and Alma Mitchell founded American Crafts in 1994 with their sons. Together, they quickly built the company into a business catering to the general crafting market. Initially specializing in pen manufacturing, American Crafts produced a variety of gel and ink pens and markers - customer favorites that are still part of the company's lineup today.
In the late 1990s, the company transitioned to focus on creating innovative, well-designed products fro the emerging scrapbooking industry. Since then, American Crafts has steadily expanded its product offering, becoming a trendsetter along the way. In 2009, American Crafts acquired the Pebbles brand to offer an even wider variety of products to scrapboookers.
American Crafts is known for fresh, clean product design and friendly, personalized customer service. Products feature bright, vibrant colors and a contemporary feel, inspiring crafters to record their memories in a fun, sophisticated, and stylish way.

I am happy to introduce you all to this week's Guest Designer - Deb Hickman!
Deb has been a regular here at City Crafter Challenge Blog, she never failed to amazed everyone with many of her wonderful work, just look at this week's Guest Designer sample and you will know what I mean. Let's welcome Deb Hickman!!!

Here's a little about Deb in her own words: Hi Everyone, my name is Deb and I'm absolutely thrilled to be guest designer for CCCB. I live in the U.K. with my husband of 23 years and my two daughters. I still call myself a SAHM even though my children are 21 &15 years old, LOL!
I started card making about 12 years ago which then led to scrapbooking in 2006 and I'm now enjoying altered art though card making is still my first love. I tend to be more of a shabby chic girl as I love all the pretty papers, ribbons, lace and flowers but I do like to try new things too. This week's challenge was perfect for me as I got to use all my favourite colours so thank you Kirsty for inviting me to be your guest designer this week.
