Guest Designer
We are so thrilled to introduce to you our Guest Designer this week, Karola Witczak!
Karola has such feminine touches in her creations, I simply adore her soft and romantic style. We feel extremely honored to have Karola's beautiful creation here this week!

Here's a little about Karola -
My name is Karola Witczak, totally addicted to scrapbooking! I'm from Poland, live in west side of the country with my wonderful husband Marcin and our sweet daughter Rose, who is my biggest inspiration.
Since this year I decided to work as a freelance designer and this make me happy. Really!
It is hard to define my style, mostly my friends call it "Karola's style," and often hear that this is a soft, romantic, feminine, eclectic. I love shabby chic but with something modern. In most of my work you can usually see portraits of my daughter - I am absolutely in love with her face, and such pictures usually go to my Lo's and albums. Definitely I like all feminine, romantic themes, delicate, soft colors, I', also dependent on the sewing machine, especially when I make cards. I love to add new things to my projects, but usually I have a big inspirations from patterned papers, flowers and interesting color palettes - I believe when I have a piece of paper I create everything!
I proudly design for Polish and International companies, stores, manufacturers, like : Prima Marketing, Pink Paislee, Webster's Pages, Twiddleybitz. Melissa Frances and challenges blogs: Pencil Lines, Creative Therapy, The Color Room, and Polish scrapbooking stores and communities. I am so proud of being a part of these places, teams - this way I can realized my dreams about scrapbooking challenges, goals, products and fantastic people, which I always getting to know better.

CCCB week 22 ~ Tree of Books (My home, my country, Singapore)

Hello all, it is week 22 at City Crafter, more than 1/3 of a year already!!!
Well, as you all know, I like to set my theme based on a city, this time, is not just a city, it is my home, my country, Singapore. Singapore is such a small place, it is a city country, the size? 3.5 times of Washington D.C, tiny huh? but mind you, being a Singaporean, we are so proud of Singapore being top of the list in many ways, one of the wealthiest country in the world, ranking 3rd in terms of economies, our airport, airline and seaport was ranked number one for many years. President Obama mentioned our education system, Mayor Bloomberg visited Singapore to learn how the traffic system work in Singapore, oh yes, I am so proud being a Singaporean.
Since I grew up in Singapore, that is where I went to school too, my childhood, school days..... that brought us to this week challenge "Tree of Books" and by coincident, my all time favorite book is "The Giving Tree" by Shel Silverstein, it is such a great book, the meaning behind is way beyond a children book, you gotta read it!

Here's the inspiration picture

Here's what you need to do for the challenge: create a card/project that include the image of a tree/trees  or a book/books. You could also make a bookmark, a book cover, a notebook, coffee table brag book etc. This is not a color challenge, so it is NOT required to use the colors from the inspiration photo.

Here you go, some inspiration from our Guest Designer and Design Team

Guest Designer
I am so thrilled to have Lenet Mos guest designed for us this week, here's a little about Lenet

Hi, my name is Lenet Mos. I'm living with my husband, two kids and two ginger tomcats in Enkhuizen, a middle sized town in the Netherlands near by the IJsselmeer.
I'm a stay at home mom and just love it, now I have a lot of time for my crafting when the kids are at school. I love working with little kids and used to be a pre-school teacher. (2 to 4 years old) Now I'm a volunteer at a pre-school for one morning a week. Maybe I'm going back to teaching if there is a job opening there. I love crafting as long as I can remember. I discovered scrapbooking about 5 years ago, and love it since then, although I'm not really into making layout at the moment. I'm too busy making cards. For a year now, I'm totally hooked on cardmaking and love to play at challenge blogs. I love to use sewing, soft colors, and spellbinder nestabilities on my cards.
I'm very honoured to be choosen as the guest designer at CCCB for this week.

Lenet Mos
Lenet make a bookmark with "Hidden" from the Enchantment Line.

Design Team
Before I go on with the DT's sample, I have a little announcement to make. Our dearest DT June Lanum  had decided to step down from the team, she has not been feeling too well lately and thought that she needs more time to rest, we respect her decision and could only wish her well, hope she takes good care of herself and recover soon. June has been a great help here at CCCB, I can't thank her enough for her contribution weekly since we started the challenge blog 21 weeks ago. Thank you June, please visit us when you have time and we will surely be in touch.  If you know June, please stop by her blog and leave her some love.

CCCB week 21 ~ One For The Boys!

Hi everyone .. I'm Ros and I'm so happy to be back setting this week's challenge ..
"One For The Boys" I know we all love to make pretty girlie things and sometimes the guys get left behind, so I thought this week we should tap into our masculine side and see what  we can come up with for the men or boys in our lives.
Leslie from A Creative Mint  has kindly allowed me to use one of her beautiful photographs for our colour inspiration ... all you have to do is use any or all of the colours to make a masculine card or project ..
Are you up to the challenge? I really hope so .. Please come and join me and our Fabulous Guest Designer this week ... look forward to seeing you.

~ Ros

Guest Designer
We are so thrilled to have Beatriz Jennings guest designed for us this week, here's a little about Beatriz:

Hi, my name is Beatriz Jennings, I fell in love with scrapbooking when I was looking through a magazine and saw all of the beautiful things that you can do with paper. Right now I'm in love with card making and altered art. I have been scrapbooking for 4 1/2 years and I love to use ribbon, buttons, and flowers on most of my creations. I don't know how to describe my style, but some people say that is a little big romantic, feminine, and even shabby. Some of my work has been published in magazines like Handmade (formerly Paper Trends), Scrapbook Trends, Cards, Paper Crafts, Scrapbook and Cards Today and Cardmaker magazine to list a few. I have also had projects published in idea books and had tutorials and projects published online on scrapbooking/papercrafting sites and some e-zines.
